JCS - Our History

JCS celebrated its 40th anniversary in December 2007. Much has changed in Japan and throughout the world since our beginning in 1967. We are very proud that JCS could contribute to the success of so many internationally important conferences and events. We hope this page of highlights will give you an idea of where we have been and how far we have come in the last four decades. 	1995	The 16th Congress of the World Energy Council Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 7th Ministrial Meeting

	1997	UNFCCC (COP3) Conference on Demand Operated the press center

	1998	Nagano XVIII Olympic Winter Games Provided main language services

	1999	The 25th General Assembly of Japanese Association of Medical Sciences

	2000	The 100th Annual Congress of the Japan Surgical Society Became the first private company in Japan to use online abstract submission system G8 Kyushu-Okinawa Summit Provided interpretation services

	2002	FIFA World Cup Provided language services and operated the information center The 85th Lions Club International Convention

	2003	The 3rd World Water Forum
